UPDATE ON THE SALE OF THE WATER SYSTEM

To the Members of King Creek WSC,

The Board of Directors wishes to inform you that the proposed sale of the water system to Central States Water Resources (CSWR) will not proceed.  After careful review, the Board determined that unresolved issues within the contract and the absence of recorded easements made it impossible to move forward with the agreement to sell.

At the Annual Meeting, the Board pledged to put the best interest of the membership first.  In this case, that commitment could not be fulfilled under the terms presented by CSWR.

Moving forward, the Board will concentrate on resolving the outstanding easement issues that currently hinder any potential sale.  Only after these matters are properly addressed will we consider engaging with another prospective buyer.
